I just woke up craving some coconut milk. I do not know how many of you use coconut milk but I can ASSURE you that it has some great benefits for your hair, skin and healthy apart for the sweet taste it has.

I am going to tell you some benefits this can have for you so on your next shopping trip - DO Not forget to put a can or two of coconut milk in your shopping bags :)!

Healthy Benefits:

1.Strong Bones:

A normal cup of milk usually contains around 38mg of calcium. Although coconut milk does not have calcium as much, it still has a considerable amount of phosphorous which in return will still contribute to strong healthy bones.

2. Arthritis Treatment:

By drinking coconut milk, you are unknowingly drinking Selenium which decreases joint inflammation and reliefs arthritis pain.

3. It LOWERS Cholesterol:

YES it actually does!! It does lower the cholesterol levels when compared to butter and other dairy based creams even though it contains saturated fats. This is thanks to the lauric acid found in it!. When compared with other saturated fats, coconut milk is top choice as it is easier for the body to break down as well as metabolizing the healthy fats.

4. Helps in Weight loss:

Although usually considered as a fattening drink due to its saturated fats, it is quite rich in fiber. This will help you stay fuller for a longer time and if taken in considerable amounts could aid people to control their weight.

5. Rich in Magnesium:

With around 89mg per cup, coconut milk provides a rich source of magnesium. This in turn, helps in maintaining a normal blood pressure as well as helps in the reduction of muscle contractions, making you feel more relaxed

Coconut milk contains a lot of beneficial acids which have antiviral, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which help the body to fight off different viruses and bacteria.

Coconut milk is the answer for a great hair moisturizer! When applying to your hair you immediately feel a cool sensation. Massage for 3 - 5 minutes and then Leave it in your hair for another 20 minutes before shampooing your hair normally. Coconut milk stimulates hair growth and is particularly beneficial for restoring damaged, dry or brittle hair and nurse it back to a good health!!

When used with other organic compounds, it can prove to be extremely beneficial especially to hair growth. Taking this into account you can mix around 50ml of coconut milk with 100ml of plain water and add a couple of tablespoons of camphor solution. Massage the scalp with this mixture especially the balding spots and leave it for a few hours. Rinse it off with warm water, place a towel on top of your head and allow it to disappear naturally not by rubbing your hair dry!

Rub some coconut milk while combing your hair on the tangles and comb right through it!

Coconut milk is a great organic conditioner as it leaves you with a thicker and longer hair! You can use it as a leave in hair conditioner without making your hair greasy at all!! Isn't it great?

It actually replaces moisture loss in your skin! Rub coconut milk directly to your skin and leave it for about 30minutes till it can get absorbed. This will leave you with a healthy glowing skin.

12. Sunburns Treatment:

Apply a thin layer of coconut milk on the sun-burnt area as this will helps in reducing the redness and restore the lost moisture in your skin. Leaving coconut milk on the affected area overnight or bathing in it can ease the pain caused by the sun-burn.

13. Anti-Aging Benefits:

Since coconut milk contains copper and Vitamin C, Consumption or by applying coconut milk can help in skin elasticity. These nutrients slow down body ageing and helps in preventing sagging skin and wrinkles

14. Skin Ailments Treatment:
